Post ITI Courses are conducted in 13 ITI’s with a motive to give intensive training to the ITI passed out trainees in the trades of Mech.Radio & Television (MRTV), Mech. Refrigeration & Air-conditioning (MRAC) and Plumber.At present every year, this course started from January.

Evening Classes

With an intention to upgrade the skills of workers in the various industries, this department is conducting evening classes in the ITI’s at Chackai (Trivandrum District), Kalamassery (Ernakulam District) and Kozhikode in the trades Electrician, Fitter and Welder. The passed out workers can directly appear for the All India Trade Test (AITT) conducted by DGET, Ministry of Labour, New Delhi.
 
Advanced Vocational Training Scheme (AVTS)

Two AVTS’s at Kalamassery and Trivandrum are functioning with intention to give advanced training to the Industrial workers to update the skill in modern technology and machinery. Short-term training in T.V.Technician and Auto Electrician courses are imparted at AVTS, Trivandrum. AVTS, Kalamassery conducts short-term courses having 4 to 12 weeks duration in six different trades.
